Bill McKinney

Bill McKinney has a strong background in academic and religious leadership, with notable roles including President of Pacific School of Religion, Dean of Hartford Seminary, and Director of Research and Evaluation at United Church Board for Homeland Ministries. Currently, they serve as Senior Consultant at the Center for Progressive Renewal.

Bill McKinney obtained a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Hartford Seminary in 1968. Bill later pursued a PhD in Religious Studies at Penn State University from 1971 to 1979. In between, they also completed a second MDiv in Ministry at Hartford Seminary from 1968 to 1971.
