Mary Ann King is a seasoned Human Factors Scientist with extensive experience in human factors engineering and interface design, currently employed at Pacific Science & Engineering since November 2006. In this role, Mary Ann King has successfully developed user-specific functional specifications and conceptual mock-ups for various commercial autonomous systems. Prior to this position, Mary Ann King worked as a Human Factors Engineer at Serco, Inc. from January 2003 to November 2006, focusing on software usability design with an emphasis on cognitive science. Mary Ann King's early experience includes an internship at Northwest Airlines, where an evaluation of instructional methods for Vertical Navigation in flight training led to significant redesign recommendations. Mary Ann King holds a Master's degree in Human Factors and Applied Cognition from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Experimental Psychology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
