Alexis Meschter

Alexis Meschter is an accomplished violinist with extensive experience in various orchestras and musical institutions. Currently serving as a Violinist at Pacific Symphony since September 2019, Meschter previously held the position of Concertmaster at Central City Opera in summer 2019 and performed as a Violinist with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra from October 2018 to June 2019. Early career roles include serving as Department Administrator at The Glenn Gould School and as a Performance Fellow with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Meschter also worked as a Department Assistant at the Johns Hopkins University and as a Fulfillment Associate at Amazon. Academically, Meschter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance from The Peabody Institute and a degree in Violin Performance from the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory.
