Dave Sharp

Dave Sharp has extensive experience in the banking and finance industry, starting from their role as a Senior Bank Examiner at FDIC in 1988. Dave progressed through various key roles such as President and CEO at Volvo Commercial Credit Corp of Utah, Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Risk Officer at CapitalSource Bank, and SVP Risk Management at Pacific Western Bank. Currently, they hold the position of SVP, Deputy Chief Risk Officer at Banc of California, showcasing their expertise and leadership in risk management and compliance.

Dave Sharp attended the University of Utah from 1982 to 1988, where they studied Finance with a focus on Spanish and Real Estate Finance. Dave later pursued a degree in Banking at the Stonier Graduate School of Banking from 2012 to 2014, emphasizing in Banking and Financial Support Services. In addition, Dave obtained certifications in "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn in 2021 and "Certified Enterprise Risk Professional" from the American Bankers Association in 2019.
