Alba Fonseca Topp

Alba Fonseca Topp has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alba started their career as an Academic Advisor at The European International Model United Nations, where they played a crucial role in selecting Student Officers for a large conference. Alba then worked as an Event Manager at the International School of The Hague, planning and supervising a week-long program for senior students.

In 2014, Alba served as the Public Relations Manager at UCSA College Bar, where they managed events, publicity, and communication with external and internal parties. Alba also gained experience in the field of renewable energy as an Intern at the European Space Agency, working on the Copernicus Earth Observation Program.

Alba later joined Sungevity Nederland as an International Business Development professional, conducting market research in the European residential solar energy market. Alba then worked at the European Patent Office as a Science and Engineering Intern, contributing to the classification system.

In 2017, Alba joined Tesla as part of the Business Development & Policy team for Tesla Energy. Alba played a role in advancing the company's energy initiatives. From there, they moved on to Kalavasta, where they worked as a Research Consultant, focusing on energy and sustainability strategy consulting.

Most recently, Alba has been working at Pacifico Energy Partners since December 2020. Alba began as a Senior Associate in Project Development, and later transitioned to the role of Senior Associate in Asset Management. In this position, they are responsible for the operational and commercial management of renewable energy assets in the Dutch portfolio.

Following their undergraduate studies, Alba went on to pursue a Master of Physics (MSc) in Renewable Energy and Sustainability at the University of Amsterdam, which they completed from 2018 to 2020.
