Matthew McVee has a diverse work experience in the field of regulatory policy and operations. Matthew has been working at PacifiCorp since 2013, first as the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Counsel, and currently serving as the Vice President of Regulatory Policy and Operations. Prior to that, they worked as a Partner at Troutman Sanders LLP, specializing in electric reliability compliance and regional transmission planning processes. In addition, Matthew served as the General Counsel at the Western Electricity Coordinating Council and as a Legal Counsel at PacifiCorp. Matthew also gained experience as an Administrative Attorney at the Nevada Public Utilities Commission and as an Attorney at their own law firm, Matthew McVee Attorney at Law. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate at Davison Van Cleve PC.

Matthew McVee completed their Juris Doctor degree in Law from Lewis & Clark Law School from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Lewis & Clark College, graduating from 1987 to 1991.
