Alex Celius

Alex Celius has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and legal industries. Alex started their career as a Paralegal at Porzio Bromberg & Newman P.C. in December 2007 and worked there until July 2009. Alex then moved to QPharma, Inc. where they served as a Regulatory Specialist from November 2011 to May 2014.

In 2014, Alex joined Pacira BioSciences, Inc. and progressed through various roles within the Compliance Department. Alex started as a Compliance Associate in June 2014 and was responsible for developing and implementing field-based auditing and monitoring programs. Alex also assisted other departments in drafting policies and standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws.

Alex was promoted to Senior Compliance Associate in July 2015 and continued to contribute to compliance initiatives. In August 2016, they became a Compliance Manager and took on the additional responsibility of reviewing promotional and non-promotional material for compliance with regulations.

In June 2018, Alex was again promoted, this time to Senior Manager of Compliance, and stayed in this role until January 2020. Alex then took on the position of Associate Director of Compliance until January 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Compliance at Pacira BioSciences, Inc. since January 2021.

Alex Celius received a BA in Criminal Justice with a focus on History from Rutgers University, graduating in 2007. Prior to that, they attended Seton Hall University from 2003 to 2005, where they studied Criminal Justice and History. Alex also obtained a Healthcare Compliance Certification from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2017. Additionally, they attended Valley Forge Military Academy & College, but no degree or field of study information was provided.
