Ben Minihane

Ben Minihane has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ben is currently serving as the Director of Technical Operations at Pacira BioSciences, Inc. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director, CMC Operations, UK at Flexion Therapeutics from 2016 to 2022. Ben also held positions at BTG, where they served as the Head of Manufacturing Technical Support from 2013 to 2016 and as the CMO Manager for the Varethena Project from 2012 to 2013. Ben Minihane also worked at Catalent as the Business Unit Leader - Zydis from 2009 to 2012, and at Aesica Pharmaceuticals as the Site Director, Ponders End in 2008. Earlier in their career, they held various positions at GlaxoSmithKline, including Director of Operational Excellence and Director of OE, GMS from 2004 to 2008.

Ben Minihane completed their education in a chronological order. From 1981 to 1984, they attended The University of Manchester, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc (Hons)) in Chemical Engineering. Following this, from 1985 to 1988, they attended Cranfield University, where they earned a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering. In October 2012, they obtained a certification as a QMS Auditor/Lead auditor for the Pharmaceutical Industry from RSSL Training, an institution that offers an IRCA Certified course.
