John Buly

John Buly has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. John started their career in the United States Air Force and later joined the Pennsylvania Air National Guard as a Senior Airman. After their military service, they worked as an Environmental Specialist and GIS technician for the MCRPC, where they developed GIS applications and environmental plans. John then transitioned into the technology industry, working as a Software and Reporting Developer/Partner at InfoTrax. John played a crucial role in developing and supporting mapping software while also managing business strategy, sales, marketing, coding, and support. John's expertise in technology led him to become a Business Intelligence Consultant at Management Science Associates, Inc., where they developed enterprise relational data warehouses and business intelligence applications for clients in the consumer packaged goods industry. John later joined Capgemini as a Principal in the Life Sciences Business Information Management division, where they delivered commercial products and solutions and collaborated with global teams to develop business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. John then moved on to IBM as a Partner in the Life Sciences Business Analytics & Strategy team. John led technologists and management consultants in delivering new analytics and data delivery frameworks and solutions, and pioneered the use of cloud-based big data analytics and real-world data. Their work at IBM also included executing predictive HCP targeting and segmentation analytic models. After IBM, John joined ZS as a Principal/Partner in the Life Sciences Business Technology practice. John served as a client technology/analytics partner and worked with clients on complex questions and value creation. Currently, John holds the position of Senior Director at Pacira BioSciences, Inc., where they are responsible for developing strategic partnerships within the organization and delivering a portfolio of IT investments to optimize value and cost. Overall, John Buly's experience spans across various sectors, showcasing their expertise in technology, analytics, and business strategy.

John Buly received a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In addition, they obtained a Senior Airman/Level 3 Information Management Certification from the United States Air Force in March 1991.
