Maryrose Hembd

Maryrose Hembd has worked in various roles since 2011. Maryrose began their career as a Baltimore Corps Member for Teach For America in 2011. In 2013, they moved to Baltimore City Public Schools and worked as a Middle School ELA Teacher. In 2014, they joined TNTP and held the roles of Training Director, Training & Instruction Manager, and Resident Development Coach. In 2017, they returned to Baltimore City Public Schools as a Model Teacher. Most recently, they are currently employed as an Executive Assistant & Project Manager at Packback since 2022.

Maryrose Hembd completed their B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. Maryrose then earned an M.S. in Education from The Johns Hopkins University in 2013. In 2018, they obtained an Educational Administrator I Certificate from Towson University in Instructional Leadership and Professional Development.
