Brent Abbott

Brent Abbott is Executive Vice President and Head of Investments for Pacolet Milliken’s Real Estate Division. Since joining Pacolet Milliken in 2015, Mr. Abbott has been a leader in driving the execution of Pacolet’s real estate strategy that encompasses core-plus, value-add, and opportunistic profile investments with a primary focus on the multifamily and industrial product types. Mr. Abbott leads various real estate investment and capital markets transactions, including asset acquisitions, joint venture investments, structured financial transactions, and asset financings. Mr. Abbott also manages key relationships within Pacolet’s network of current and prospective real estate and financial partners.

Before joining Pacolet, Mr. Abbott was Vice President of Capital Markets at Forest City Ratner Companies in New York City. At Forest City, he was responsible for closing over $2.2 billion of real estate capital markets transactions and for the financial management of 4 ground-up development projects in the New York City metropolitan area totaling over $2.3 billion in project costs.

Mr. Abbott received an undergraduate degree in business from Wake Forest University and an MBA degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
