Matthias Bauer

Matthias Bauer is an accomplished academic in the field of inorganic chemistry, currently serving as a Fachkollegiat at the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft since 2020. Bauer has been at Universität Paderborn since October 2013, holding the positions of Professor für Anorganische Chemie, Prodekan for both research and teaching in the Faculty of Natural Sciences, and coordinating the establishment of a Chinese-German campus. Previous experience includes a Juniorprofessur at Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, an Akademischer Rat at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie, and a postdoctoral researcher at both the European Synchrotron and University of Stuttgart.
