Derek Roche

Derek Roche is a seasoned professional in product design with significant experience in various roles. Currently, Derek serves as a Senior Product Designer at BioRender since February 2022. A dynamic creative artist, Derek also contributes as the lead vocalist, front-man, songwriter, and co-producer for an ECMA-winning rock band, which reflects a deep passion for music. Prior experience includes a role as Product Designer at Proposify from 2019 to December 2021, and Director of UI/UX at Momentum IT Group from June 2016 to July 2018, where Derek specialized in interface design and user research. Earlier career highlights include a UI Consultant position at The Healthy Back Institute, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at SiteFlo, and Creative Director/Owner at f6 Design Logic. Derek began the journey in web and graphic design as a Media Designer at AltiMax Network Services and a Web Designer at Frontier Technologies. Education was pursued at NSCAD in 1999, solidifying a foundation in design principles and practices.
