Daniel Lazarz, P.E. LEED AP has over 25 years of work experience in the field of fire protection engineering. Daniel began their career at Babcock & Wilcox in 1992, where they served as a Fire Protection Engineer and Emergency Team Coordinator until 1997. Daniel then worked at Duke Engineering & Services, Duke Energy Company from 1997 to 1999 as a Fire Protection Engineer. Following this, Daniel joined AHA Consulting Engineers in 1999 as a Fire Protection Engineer until 2003. Daniel then moved to Robson Woese, Inc, where they served as a Project Manager and Fire Protection Engineer from 2003 to 2004. In 2005, Daniel joined Page Southerland Page, Inc. as the Principal and Fire Protection Engineering Director, a role they still hold to this day. Additionally, they have also held a role as Captain at Upton Fire & EMS Department since 1998. As a LEED AP, Daniel has demonstrated their expertise in sustainable design and is committed to promoting environmentally friendly practices in their work.

Daniel Lazarz, P.E. LEED AP started their education journey at Liverpool High School from 1982 to 1986, pursuing a Regents Diploma. Following this, they attended Onondaga Community College from 1986 to 1988, focusing on Engineering Sciences. Eventually, they enrolled in the University of Maryland, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Fire Protection Engineering from 1988 to 1991.
