Rebecca Skilbeck

Rebecca Skilbeck has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Rebecca began their career in 1995 as a Postgraduate Research student at The Royal Children's Hospital, specializing in microbiology, genetics, and molecular biology. During their time there, they isolated, cloned, and sequenced a gene linked to gut pathology and morbidity in humans.

In 1998, Skilbeck joined PA Consulting Group as a Consultant Analyst, where they worked until 2000.

From 2000 to 2005, Skilbeck worked at Merrill Lynch as a Vice President. Rebecca was part of the Global and Thematic Research team, responsible for writing fundamental equity research based on financial data and accounting principles. Skilbeck also conducted thematic research and presented it to institutional investors.

Skilbeck then founded their own company, Beckon Skills, in 2005. Rebecca served as the Director until 2010.

In 2010, Skilbeck joined PageUp as a Senior Research Analyst, specializing in Business Intelligence and HR Thought Leadership. Rebecca held this role until 2017 when they were promoted to Head of Customer Insights & Market Research. In this position, Skilbeck led a team responsible for business intelligence, competitor analysis, customer success measures, market and product research, and creating research-based thought leadership.

Throughout their career, Skilbeck has demonstrated a strong focus on research, market analysis, and customer insights, making their a valuable asset in driving business success.

Rebecca Skilbeck's education history includes various degree programs from reputable institutions. From 1991 to 2000, they attended the University of Melbourne, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (honors) degree in Molecular Biology, a Master of Science degree, and a Master of Commerce (honors) degree in Management. Following this, they enrolled at the CFA Institute from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a CFA certification.
