Matthew Jones is an experienced data science professional specializing in credit risk and fraud analytics. Currently serving as Data Science Manager for Credit Risk and Fraud at Paidy since September 2020, Matthew leads teams focused on credit underwriting strategy and analytics. Previously, as a Product Owner and Data Scientist at Home Credit Vietnam, Matthew managed initiatives for credit card products. Experience also includes a managerial role in risk consulting at PwC South East Asia Consulting, where Matthew worked on implementing Basel II compliant credit risk models, and a leadership position in credit risk modeling at Home Credit China. Earlier career stages involved significant contributions to risk management projects at Commonwealth Bank, complementing a solid educational foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Finance from Curtin University and certifications in Mandarin Chinese.
