Tuomo Nieminen

Tuomo Nieminen is the Medical Director at Päijät-Hämeen hyvinvointiyhtymä, PHHYKY, since March 2020. Prior to this, Nieminen worked as the Chief Physician at Päijät-Häme Central Hospital in the Internal Medicine department. He also served as a Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Helsinki and as the Editor-in-chief of Sydänääni, the official journal of the Finnish Cardiac Society. In addition, Nieminen has held various advisory and leadership positions in healthcare organizations such as Medieta Ltd., Helsinki University Central Hospital, and Peruspalvelukeskus Oiva -liikelaitos.
