Jorge Venegas

Jorge Venegas serves as the Latin America Berry Operations Director and Controlled Environment Lead at Pairwise since September 2018. Previously, Jorge held the position of Research Scientist at DuPont Pioneer and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln from August 2014 to December 2017, where responsibilities included designing and assessing winter wheat breeding trials. Jorge's earlier experience includes roles as a Consultant, Silviculture Manager, and Genetics and Development Manager at 3A Composites, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Jorge holds a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics, an MS in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology, and a BS in Agronomy and Crop Science from esteemed institutions.
