Imran L. serves as the Chief Operations Officer for the Scientific Data & Computing Center at Brookhaven National Laboratory, focusing on the development and management of critical facilities to support global scientific research. With a robust background in leadership and operations, Imran has successfully led infrastructure projects, mentored students in various scientific fields, and ensured the reliability of state-of-the-art R&D facilities. Prior experience includes roles at BP Mechanical Corp., where responsibilities spanned engineering management, project estimation, and project management of commercial and industrial systems. Imran holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The City College of New York and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, supplemented by an executive education from MIT Sloan. Additionally, involvement as an ambassador for the Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education highlights a commitment to educational outreach.
