Shoaib Javed Hussain

Shoaib Javed Hussain is an accomplished actuarial professional currently serving as the Chairman of The Insurance Association of Pakistan since October 2024 and the Chief Executive Officer at State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan since March 2021. With extensive experience on various boards, Shoaib holds directorship positions at Pakistan Cables Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited, alongside previous service on the board of Pak Datacom Limited. Prior to these roles, Shoaib was Group Director and Head of Strategic Risk at AIA and worked as a Consultant Actuary at Milliman. Shoaib's background includes significant positions in risk capital and enterprise risk management at Prudential Plc and Ernst & Young, as well as experience in life insurance at HSBC. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship from the Institute of Actuaries (UK) and an MSc in Actuarial Management from Bayes Business School.
