Muhammad Arif Shaikh

Muhammad Arif Shaikh is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in senior financial management roles across various industries. Currently serving as the Acting Chief Financial Officer at Pakistan Steel Mills Corporation since July 2011, Muhammad oversees key financial functions including finance, cash management, taxation, and sales accounts. Previously, Muhammad held the position of Group General Manager of Accounts, Systems, and Risk Management at Chenab Ltd Group, where responsibilities included managing finance for a textile composite unit with an annual turnover of Rs 8 billion. Muhammad's career also features significant roles such as General Manager Finance at Sitara Chemical Industries Limited and Chief Accountant at Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd. Furthermore, Muhammad has served as Finance Director at Lahore Electric Supply Company and has experience as a Senior Manager at Eshai and Co., Chartered Accountant. Muhammad holds a Fellow Membership from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a B.Com degree from Govt Premier College Karachi.
