Rafay Baloch

Rafay Baloch is an accomplished cyber security professional with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant in Cyber Security at the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) since October 2021, Rafay leads cyber security audits and formulates national strategies, frameworks, and guidelines for the telecom sector. As the Lead Security Researcher at Cyber Citadel since January 2019, Rafay oversees the cyber security research division and conducts extensive red teaming exercises. Previously, Rafay held roles such as Product Security at Bykea and Cyber Security Advisor at PTA, where contributions included formulating regulations and conducting audits. Earlier career highlights include serving as Senior Manager for Information and Network Security at Global Eagle, where Rafay implemented security standards, and as Information Security Manager at Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, focusing on awareness programs and vulnerability management. Rafay holds multiple degrees in Cyber Security and Information Security from University of Westminster, Riphah International University, and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Bahria University.
