Martin Šamaj

Martin Šamaj serves as the CEO, Adviser, and Hospital Processes Manager at SMART HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS since July 2018 and is also a member of the board at Česká průmyslová zdravotní pojišťovna from March 2022. Additionally, Martin serves as an adviser to the Minister of Finance for Health Care at the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic since January 2022. Martin holds an academic position in the Department of Healthcare Management at Palacký University Olomouc since March 2014. Martin's previous experience includes roles as Hospital Processes Manager and member of the Board of Management at Svet zdravia Development from April 2016 to June 2018, and as Deputy Director for Nonmedical Care at Faculty Hospital Olomouc from October 2007 to March 2016. Martin's career began as a Registered Nurse in Intensive Care at Faculty Hospital Ostrava. Martin holds multiple degrees, including a Master's degree in Health Care Economics and Management from Palacký University, an MBA from The Nottingham Trent University, and various health-related qualifications.
