Stephanie Whalen has a diverse work experience in marketing, communications, and project coordination. Stephanie started their career as a Public Relations/Marketing Intern at SocialShopper in 2012. Stephanie then worked as a Communications Coordinator at The Food for Famine Society from 2011 to 2012 and as a Communications Coordinator at World Food Day Canada in 2012. Stephanie also served as a Communications Officer at The Sharing Farm Society from 2011 to 2013. Stephanie gained further experience as a Server/Bartender at Boston Pizza from 2009 to 2013. Stephanie joined 1-800-GOT-JUNK? as a Public Relations Intern in 2013, and later in the same year, they became a Communications Strategist at Focus Foundation of BC (Whytecliff Learning Centres) until 2015. In 2015, Stephanie joined Gogo Telugo Creatives as a Project Coordinator. Stephanie then moved to Paladin Security Group Ltd and held roles as a Social Media Brand Ambassador from 2015 to 2016 and as a Social Media Community Manager from 2016 to 2017. Currently, they work at Paladin Technologies, where they started as a Communications Manager from 2017 to 2019. Stephanie then progressed to become a Marketing Communications Manager for a brief period in 2019 and subsequently became the Director of Marketing & Communications from 2019 to 2021. Presently, Stephanie holds the position of Vice President, Marketing & Communications at Paladin Technologies, starting from October 2021.

Stephanie Whalen completed their Diploma in Public Relations from Kwantlen Polytechnic University from 2011 to 2013. In 2018, they further pursued their education in the field of SEO /SEM & Analytics at BrainStation. Stephanie also briefly attended City University of Seattle in 2014 for Executive Leadership studies. In 2009-2010, Stephanie attended the University of the Fraser Valley, where they focused on Communication and Media Studies.
