Governess Simpson

Governess Simpson is a Technical Lead and Forward Deployed Software Engineer at Palantir Technologies, focusing on business development with US Government clients since August 2022. Previously, Governess served as a Coach for Major League Hacking, representing the organization at hackathons, and held a Civic Digital Fellow position at the Internal Revenue Service, where product management skills were utilized to transition tax processing to digital. Governess has also been involved in community-building efforts for underrepresented groups in technology through Rewriting the Code, worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Bubble, conducted research with Grouplens Research, and gained venture capital experience at Atland Ventures, including a leadership role as VP of Information Technology and Operations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
