Nico Scherer

Nico Scherer is an Engineering Manager and Head of Financial Services Engineering EMEA at Palantir Technologies, a role held since 2017. Scherer has previously served as an Advisor to the Founding Team of Changeway Group Ltd, where a Go-To-Market plan for a SaaS start-up was developed during an MBA program. Prior to this, experience includes positions as a Senior Software Engineer at SAP, Junior Software Engineer at Zalando SE, and a Co-operative Student at Fraunhofer FOKUS, where a Master thesis focused on lane-level map data was written. Additional experience includes a Working Student role at DLR, where software for aircraft noise evaluations was developed, and as a Student in a cooperative studies program focusing on measurement facilities for wind and plasma tunnels. An exchange program at Purdue School of Engineering and Technology involved the development of robotic hardware and software for vehicle crash prevention testing. Educational qualifications include an MBA from IMD, a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from DHBW Mannheim.
