Lizette A.

Lizette A. has extensive experience in library management and community services, currently serving as the Assistant Manager of Adult Services and Business and Career Librarian at Palatine Public Library District since September 2018. In this role, Lizette oversees operations within the Adult Service Department and plays a key part in strategic planning as a member of the Library’s Management Team. Prior to this position, Lizette held various roles, including Supervising Librarian at Seattle Public Library and Librarian at Gail Borden Public Library District, where responsibilities included collection management and outreach. Lizette also worked at Vernon Area Public Library as an Adult Reference Librarian and Head of Interlibrary Loan. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University and a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Columbia College Chicago.
