Elizabeth Pabon-Alvarado - MBA

Elizabeth Pabon-Alvarado has a diverse background in finance and accounting roles. Elizabeth most recently worked as the Corporate Accounting Manager at Palecek starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Financial Controller at The Latina Center from February 2021. From October 2017, they were responsible for managing accounting and finance for three organizations, including the Kensington Community Council, The Latina Center, and Weigh of Life, with varying budgets.

Elizabeth also had experience as a City Council Member for the City of San Pablo starting in November 2018. Elizabeth Pabon-Alvarado pursued their education in a chronological sequence, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Business from Eastern Nazarene College between 1999 and 2002. Elizabeth then enrolled at UC Berkeley Extension from 2006 to 2009, where they focused on Accounting and Finance. Later, Elizabeth attended Golden Gate University from 2011 to 2014, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting.

To further enhance their professional skills, Elizabeth obtained additional certifications. Elizabeth achieved a QuickBooks Certification from QuickBooks Business Solutions in February 2020.
