Lauren Minford

Team Lead, Southeast at PaleoWest

Lauren Minford is a senior archaeologist and team lead at PaleoWest. Lauren has over 15 years of professional experience in all phases of archaeological investigations, including field work, report writing, and proposal development. Lauren has worked on projects in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, as well as in Jordan and Greece. Lauren's experience includes excavation and recovery of Algonkian burials in coastal North Carolina, tomb excavations at Petra, Jordan, and a bioarchaeological survey in the Everglades of south Florida. In addition to their experience in human osteology and bioarchaeology, Lauren has worked with the U.S. Forest Service, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Jacksonville district, the Tennessee Valley Authority, Fort Polk in Louisiana, and Fort Bragg in North Carolina, Redstone Arsenal in Alabama, Maryland Transportation Authority, the North Carolina Department of Transportation, and the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
