Alex Rijksen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Alex is currently working as the Global Service Sales Director at PALFINGER MARINE since 2021. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at Palfinger Marine Dubai (formerly known as Harding Safety) from 2017 to 2021. Alex has experience as a Technical Sales Manager at Materiaal Metingen Europe from 1992 to 2001.

Alex Rijksen has a diverse education history. From 1982 to 1986, they attended Merchant Marine Nautical College and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree. During this time, they did not specialize in any particular field of study.

In 2007, Alex Rijksen briefly attended Nijenrode University, where they focused on HR Management. Although they did not complete a degree at this institution, they gained knowledge and skills in this field.

From 1994 to 1995, Alex Rijksen attended Open University, where they obtained a degree in Business to Business Marketing, known as NIMA A & B. This degree allowed him to specialize in the field of business marketing.

Between 1989 and 1991, Alex Rijksen attended the University of Tilburg, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Economics. This degree provided him with a comprehensive understanding of business principles and economics.

Lastly, from 1986 to 2006, Alex Rijksen served in the Royal Dutch Navy and achieved the rank of Lt. Commander. During their tenure, they focused on operations, gaining practical experience and enhancing their skills in this field.
