Stephan van de Velde

Stephan Van de Velde is a seasoned Service Engineer with extensive experience in marine safety systems. Since June 2016, Stephan has been with PALFINGER MARINE, and prior to that, served in the same role at Harding Safety AS from March 2008 to June 2016, focusing on inspections for lifeboat and davit systems. Stephan's education includes a Maritime Officer degree from STC Rotterdam (2004–2008) and ongoing studies at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, alongside various certifications in offshore safety training, emergency response, and OEM qualifications obtained in South Korea. Additionally, Stephan completed a technical education in steel construction from 2000 to 2004 and holds a certification in Rope Access.
