Dr. Christian Zingel

Dr. Christian Zingel has extensive work experience in various roles related to systems engineering. Dr. Christian currently holds the position of Head of Competence Cluster Systems Engineering at PALFINGER AG since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Teamleader at :em engineering methods AG from January 2021 to August 2022. Dr. Zingel also worked at AVL from 2013 to 2020, where they held several roles including Senior Lead Engineer, Senior Specialist, Specialist, and Specialist Portfolio Management in the field of systems engineering.

Dr. Christian Zingel has an extensive education history. Dr. Christian began their studies in 2000 at Debeka VVaG (Insurance), where they obtained a degree in IT management assistant, specializing in Informatics and Management assistant. Dr. Christian then pursued their undergraduate education at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), majoring in Mechanical Engineering - Automotive Engineering, and completed their degree as Dipl.-Ing. in 2008. Continuing their education at KIT, Dr. Zingel obtained their doctoral degree, Dr.-Ing., in Systems Engineering in 2013. In addition to their degrees, Dr. Zingel also holds a certification as an OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional, which they obtained in September 2010 from the OMG institution.
