Heather Jonasson

Heather Jonasson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Heather is currently employed at Paligo as a Content Lead since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Creator and Host for the podcast "Life In The Land of The Ice and Snow" starting in October 2018.

From February 2021 to August 2022, Heather worked at Precisely as a Content Manager. In this role, they were responsible for writing, editing, and enhancing copy while keeping SEO and social media needs in mind. Heather also developed and implemented marketing campaigns and strategies and contributed creative ideas for new types of content. Additionally, they applied data analytics to personalize and optimize content.

Before joining Precisely, Heather worked at MEDIA75 as a Copywriter and Social Media Manager for clients such as Paradox, Mojang, and Ubisoft. Heather created and produced relevant copy and content, edited dialogue for quality and consistency, and adjusted the copy to meet client needs through social media and web content. Their tenure at MEDIA75 lasted from February 2013 to February 2021.

Heather also served as a Community and Social Media Manager at AtelierSlice AB from January 2014 to December 2015. Heather managed social media platforms, developed communities with start-ups and influencers in food tech, and conducted research into emerging food tech companies. Additionally, they handled correspondence and organizing tasks for companies joining the project "Feeding the Accelerator" for the USA Pavilion at the Milan World Expo 2015.

Earlier in their career, Heather held roles such as Administrator at International Idea from January 2013 to June 2013, Communication Assistant at Karolinska Institutet from 2010 to 2012, and English Instructor at Berlitz from 2008 to 2009 where they taught business English and provided instruction on language skills and American culture.

Heather Jonasson's education history begins in 1994 when they attended Lee College, where they studied humanities until 1996. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Houston from 1996 to 2000, majoring in Communications/Media. In 2000, Heather attended SFI (svenska för invandrare) until 2003, although their field of study is unspecified. In 2009, they briefly studied Photoshop at Medieinstitutet in Stockholm. Additionally, Heather has obtained several certifications, including "Introduction to Communication Science" from Coursera, University of Amsterdam in July 2015, "Scandinavian Film and Television - University of Copenhagen" from Coursera in November 2014, "Internet History, Technology, and Security" from Coursera in December 2013, and "The Language of Hollywood: Storytelling, Sound, and Color" from Coursera, Wesleyan University in March 2013.
