Nikhil Mirjankar

Nikhil Mirjankar has a diverse range of work experience. Nikhil'smost recent position is as a Principal Data Scientist at Pall Corporation, where they started in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Ixcela Inc. from 2017 to 2021 as a Research Scientist, conducting research studies in metabolomics, gut-microbiome, and gut-brain axis. Nikhil also collaborated with prestigious partners and worked on biomarkers for predicting cardiovascular events. Before that, they were a Research Associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) from 2014 to 2017, where they conducted research studies in chemical forensics and developed forensic methods. Nikhil started their career at Oklahoma State University in 2004 as a Postdoctorate Research Associate, working on spectroscopy for automotive paint forensics. Nikhil also served as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the university, where they worked on biomarker identification and gene expression analysis. Prior to that, they worked at Biocon from 2002 to 2004, where they held the position of Executive and worked on product development and marketing of industrial enzymes.

Nikhil Mirjankar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from Oklahoma State University, which they earned between 2004 and 2012. In addition, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution between 2007 and 2012. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Chemical Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, from 1998 to 2002.
