Dave Moncur

Dave Moncur is a seasoned water resources professional with extensive experience in hydrology and environmental management. Currently serving as a Senior Water Resources Specialist at Palmer since December 2022, Dave provides mentorship and technical direction on hydrometric data analysis and field methods. Previous roles include Hydrologist at Matrix Solutions Inc. from August 2019 to December 2022, where collaboration on multi-disciplinary projects focused on water supply, environmental protection, and impact assessments was key. From March 2013 to August 2019, Dave held the position of Head of Operations at Environment and Climate Change Canada's Water Survey of Canada, managing resources and developing innovative methods for real-time hydrometric data delivery. Earlier, Dave served as Hydrometric Supervisor and Technologist with Water Survey of Canada from 1987 to 2013, showcasing a career dedicated to hydrometric data collection and analysis.
