Andre Crafford has a diverse work experience in the education field. Andre started their career as a librarian and classroom teacher at Shelby County Schools from August 1990 to May 2008. From June 2008 to April 2014, they served as an Elementary Education Supervisor. Later, they joined Collierville Schools as the PK-5 Curriculum & Accountability Supervisor from April 2014 to June 2016, and then became the Retired Principal from July 2016 to June 2020. Currently, they hold the positions of Director of Education And Training and Education Specialist at Palmer Home for Children, starting in December 2020.
Andre Crafford completed their Bachelor's degree in Education at The University of Memphis from 1986 to 1990. Andre then pursued a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Instruction and Curriculum Leadership at The University of Memphis from 1994 to 1997. Following this, they attended Union University and obtained an Ed.S. degree in Education with a concentration in Administration and Supervision from 2002 to 2004. Lastly, they completed their highest level of education, an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, also at Union University from 2004 to 2006.
