Ashley Matthys

Ashley Matthys, PHR SHRM-CP, has extensive experience in human resources. Ashley currently holds the role of VP of Human Resources at Palmer Johnson Enterprises, Inc., a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Human Resources at the same company from January 2020 to March 2021.

Before joining Palmer Johnson Enterprises, Inc., Ashley worked at Palmer Johnson Power Systems as the Director of Human Resources from March 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they oversaw all HR functions and implemented various strategic initiatives to enhance performance and employee development.

Earlier in their career, Ashley served as the Vice President of Human Resources at KleenMark from August 2016 to February 2018. Ashley supervised HR staff, ensured legal compliance, managed recruitment processes, and maintained relationships with external benefit administrators.

Ashley's experience also includes a tenure at Smart Motors Toyota/Scion, where they held various HR roles. Ashley was the Director of Human Resources from January 2016 to July 2016, responsible for training management personnel and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Prior to this, they served as a Human Resources Generalist from February 2011 to December 2015 and as a Human Resources Assistant and Payroll Administrator from June 2008 to January 2011.

Ashley's career in HR began with an internship at Eau Claire Press Company, where they gained valuable experience as a Human Resources Intern from May 2007 to May 2008.

Ashley Matthys, PHR SHRM-CP, completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2008. In 2011, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2015, they also earned the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
