Ruth Chambers-Turner

Ruth Chambers-Turner, Ph.D has extensive experience in the education sector. Their most recent role was as the Director and High School Principal at Palmetto Excel Center, a start-up school that serves adults returning to earn their high school diplomas. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal and Director at the Goodwill Excel Center DC. Ruth has also worked at Northern Virginia Community College as the Director of the Math and Science Center, where they oversaw a staff of 20 individuals and implemented successful programs to increase center usage. Ruth has previous teaching experience at Hondros College, Columbus State Community College, and Wright State University, where they taught biology and microbiology courses. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Microbiology and Immunology at Wright State University from 2007 to 2010.
