Emily Pastewka

Emily Pastewka is a seasoned leader in data science and analytics with extensive experience in clean energy and technology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Data at Palmetto since May 2023, Emily leads a multifaceted data team, returning to roots in clean energy. Simultaneously, as an investor at InvestInData, Emily focuses on data and ML/AI startups. Previously, at Black Crow AI, Emily held roles including Strategic Advisor and Senior Director, where the emphasis was on democratizing AI access and leading core machine learning initiatives. At Rent The Runway, Emily oversaw award-winning machine learning and data product teams, contributing to significant business areas. Emily's early career included impactful roles at Uber and Opower, cementing a strong foundation in predictive modeling, optimization, and strategic finance. Academically, Emily holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University, complemented by studies at Stanford University and Harvard Business School Executive Education.
