Katherine Cantoli

Katherine (Hagedon) Cantoli serves as the Director of Performance Engineering at Palo Alto Networks, where responsibilities include overseeing performance engineering for a major Java-based cloud security software system and leading a globally diverse team. Key accomplishments encompass transforming the performance testing team into a performance engineering team, enhancing Prisma Cloud’s performance, and integrating performance testing across services. Prior experience includes roles at Veeva Systems as Vault Performance Director, and extensive positions at Oracle, Hyperion Solutions, and Brio Technology in performance engineering and software development. Earlier in their career, Katherine contributed as a Capacity and Performance Engineer at Lexis-Nexis and as a Mission Operations and Data Analysis Specialist at the Universities Space Research Association. Katherine holds a BA in Astronomy from Northwestern University and an MS in Computer Science from Wright State University.
