Somasekhar Bobba

Somasekhar Bobba is a seasoned engineering leader with over two decades of experience in product development across diverse domains, including virtualization, security, storage, and AI technologies. Currently serving as the Director and Site Lead for Data Security at Palo Alto Networks, Somasekhar is focused on building next-generation security products. Previously, during a lengthy tenure at Gainsight, Somasekhar held multiple senior leadership roles, culminating as Senior Vice President of Engineering, where accomplishments included scaling teams and driving revenue growth from $0 million to $200 million in ARR for a pioneering B2B SaaS platform. Somasekhar's earlier career includes key engineering roles at RSA Security, Stratify, Citrix, Computer Associates, and Navionics, supported by a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Warangal.
