Derek Moore

Derek Moore is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Chief Technology Officer for Palo Alto Unified School District since September 2014. Previously, Derek held the position of Director of Technology Services at San Jose Unified School District from August 2011 to September 2014 and Supervisor of Technology at Campbell Union School District from November 2006 to August 2011. Derek's expertise includes managing E-Rate applications, migrating district-wide assessment systems, and upgrading network infrastructures. Early in the career, Derek worked as a Computer Technician and Support Technician, providing essential support and maintenance to educational institutions. Derek earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and attended California Polytechnic State University.
