Rajinda Rathnapala

Rajinda Rathnapala has a diverse work experience in software development and project management. Rajinda currently works as a Program Delivery Lead at PALO IT, where they focus on digital and technology innovation, particularly in the FinTech space. Prior to this, Rajinda worked at Mitra Innovation as an Associate Director - Delivery, where they established portfolio plans, exceeded revenue targets, and improved account planning processes. Rajinda also held roles as a Senior Project Manager and UK Segment Head at Mitra Innovation, leading and delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid Project Delivery methodologies. Rajinda's previous experience includes working as a Project Manager at Sysco Labs Sri Lanka, where they played the proxy product owner role and established high-level scopes for product releases, as well as a Senior Software Engineer at 99X Technology and Virtusa, where they led project teams, analyzed user requirements, and assessed project requirements. Overall, Rajinda has demonstrated expertise in project management, Agile methodologies, and technology innovation.

Rajinda Rathnapala completed their primary and secondary education at Ananda College from 1993 to 2006. Rajinda then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at SLIIT from 2007 to 2010. Afterwards, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business Administration and Management from Cardiff Metropolitan University, attending from 2012 to 2014. Rajinda also holds various certifications, including SAFe Agilist (4.0) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2016, Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in 2016, Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2014, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2014, and A Practical Approach to Kanban from QAI in 2014.
