Charles Callery

Charles Callery has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Charles started in 1984 as a Surgeon at Charles D. Callery, M.D., Inc. In 2007, they joined Palomar Health as the Medical Director of the Bariatric Surgery Program and later became the Chief of Staff Elect at Pomerado Hospital from 2014 to 2016. Charles also served as the Co-chair of the Quality Management Committee during the same period. In 2012, they became the Chief of the Department of Surgery at Pomerado Hospital. Since 2017, Charles has been working as the Chief of Staff at Palomar Medical Center - Poway.

Charles Callery graduated from Cate School in 1967 with a high school degree. Charles then attended Dartmouth College from 1967 to 1971, graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Science degree in Biology, Pre-Med. Charles further pursued their education at the University of California, San Francisco from 1973 to 1975, where they obtained their medical degree (M.D.).
