Mary Harris

Mary Harris, RHIA has extensive experience in the health information management field. Mary began their career as a Coordinator at Shannon Medical Center in 2008 and held this role until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, Mary worked as a Manager of Document Imaging at Parallon. Mary then moved on to the Medical Center of McKinney, where they served as the Manager of Health Information Management from 2012 to 2013. Mary then joined Texas Health Presbyterian WNJ as the Director of Health Information Management from 2013 to 2014. Following this, they worked at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Frisco as the Director of Health Information Management from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, Mary joined PAM Health as the Director of HIM and held this position until 2022. Mary also took on the role of Corporate HIM Director Resource from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Mary serves as the Regional Corporate HIM Director at PAM Health.

Mary Harris, RHIA completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administration from Texas State University from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Angelo State University from 2003 to 2007. Mary also holds a certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) from AHIMA, which they obtained in 2011.
