Vance W. Tong

Vance W. Tong is the current Director of Operations & Senior Managing Editor at Pamplin Media Group. Vance has been with the company in various capacities since 2014, most recently serving as Senior Managing Editor from January 2019 to April 2020. Prior to that, they were the Host of The Business of Portland on KPAM AM860 from August 2016 to February 2018. Tong began their career with Pamplin Media Group as the Managing Editor for Portland Tribune from December 2014 to October 2019 before being promoted to Editor and Publisher of the Business Tribune in February 2014, a position they held until November 2021. Before joining Pamplin Media Group, Tong was with Eagle Newspapers Inc. from May 2002 to November 2013, where they served as Publisher Central Oregonian and Central Oregon Press.

Vance W. Tong received their Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Oregon State University. Vance also holds certification from the Google Analytics Academy in Google Analytics.
