Corne Schalkwyk

Corne Schalkwyk is an experienced professional in geology and mineralogy, currently serving as Lab Manager at Pan African Resources PLC since April 2022, overseeing an assay lab focused on gold exploration. Schalkwyk is also the Owner of Angavu Precious Stones cc, an online retailer of coloured precious gemstones with additional services in UV-VIS-NIR Spectrometry and Optical Spectroscopy. Previously, Schalkwyk worked as an Occupational Hygiene Observer at NOHS Consultants from September 2016 to April 2022, as well as a Mineralogist at Anglo Research from January 2005 to March 2012. Schalkwyk holds a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Johannesburg, earned between 1998 and 2005.
