Yuri Shetlele

Yuri Shetlele is an experienced metallurgist with a progressive career in the mining and metallurgical industries. Currently serving as a Plant Technical Official and Shift Foreman at Pan African Resources PLC since October 2021, Yuri previously held positions at Rand Refinery Limited as a Metallurgical Operator and at Gauteng Refinery PTY Ltd. as a Process Operator. Early career experience includes working as a Graduate Metallurgist at Village Main Reef Gold Mining Company (1934) Limited and as a Trainee Metallurgist at Minopex. Educationally, Yuri holds a Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology, a BSc (Hons) in Metallurgy from the University of Pretoria, and is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from North-West University, expected to be completed in June 2024.
