Oscar Echandi

Oscar Echandi has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an MYP Individuals and Societies Teacher at Pan-American School since August 2017, where responsibilities include crafting inquiry-based courses, supervising IB projects, and advising the Middle School Model United Nations. Prior experience includes teaching social studies at Country Day School and working as an associate educator in special education for Intermediate District 287, delivering differentiated instruction. Additionally, Oscar contributed to community engagement as a policy researcher for the Minnesota Council on Latino Affairs and held various educational roles, including instructor and management intern. Academic credentials include a Double Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Humanities from the University of St. Thomas and a Master of Arts in Educational Instruction from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
