Alejandro Garrone

Alejandro Garrone is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in mining geology, currently serving as the Mine and Resource Geology Superintendent at Pan American Silver Corp. since April 2023. Prior to this role, Alejandro held a similar position at Yamana Gold Inc., where responsibilities included leading mine geology and resource teams across multiple operating mines. Alejandro's career also includes significant roles such as Chief Resource Geologist at Yamana Gold, Senior Resource Geologist at Minera Don Nicolas, and various positions with Barrick Gold Corporation, Xstrata Copper, and Cerro Vanguardia S.A. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mining Geology from the University of Exeter and a Citation in Applied Geostatistics from the University of Alberta, among others.
